About Our Trust

Governance

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust believes that each school should have a Local Governing Board that is made up of parents, members of staff and appointed community members.

Local Governing Boards have delegated areas of responsibility, clearly outlined in our Scheme of Delegation. The key responsibility of each Board is to ensure that the school’s leadership team is working effectively to improve the quality of education, through the development of a knowledge rich curriculum and improving pedagogy.

Each individual school website lists the membership of the Local Governing Board, areas of responsibility, register of business interest and Governor attendance at meetings for the previous year.

Chairs of each Local Board meet together with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chair of the Trust to share and co-ordinate best practice. The Chief Executive Officer and Executive Primary Lead also regularly attend Local Governing Board meetings.

The Trust procures high quality Governor Service support for each Board and arranges annual training events for Governors.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
